If you can, go early in the morning or late at night--direct sunlight can feel up to 15°F higher than it really is. If it's really hot, wear a hat and sunscreen, and mist your shirt with a spray bottle of cool water. Did you know that it isn't until you squat BELOW parallel to the floor that you actually engage your glutes? Otherwise, you're just using your quads and hamstrings so go deep to target your butt! If you can't can't do it right away start slow. Work up to it by going deeper each time.
